My Story

Hello! I'm Denice, and I'm a retired youth pastor who has been walking with Christ for more than 35 years. I have always loved God and His Word - the scriptures have been my constant source of encouragement, strength, hope, and courage through every season of life.

The Heart Behind Life-Words WorkShop

In 2023, I opened Life-Words WorkShop after discovering a passion for woodworking that I never knew I had. But this business was born from a very personal frustration - I would search stores and online for beautiful displays of my favorite scriptures, only to find that they simply weren't available. The verses that had carried me through difficult times, the promises that had given me hope, the words that had strengthened my faith - I couldn't find them beautifully crafted anywhere.

That's when God gave me the vision: Why not create them myself?

My Mission

Every piece I create combines three things I'm passionate about: beautiful craftsmanship, stunning photography, and most importantly, the life-giving Word of God. Each handcrafted wooden frame features carefully selected scriptures that I pray will encourage, uplift, strengthen, and give hope to everyone who brings one into their home.

After 35+ years of ministry, I know the power of God's Word to transform lives. My prayer is that these pieces will serve as daily reminders of God's love, promises, and faithfulness in your home.
